Champion Bitch Stake runner-up Droopys Sambuca can bounce back in the semi-finals of the Quickpark.ie Oaks over 525 yards at Limerick.

Robert Gleeson’s bitch got things wrong at the start last week and then found every bit of trouble going.

She is better drawn this  time in trap one and can rail into the lead on the opening turn.

The biggest threat may come from John McGee’s Skywalker Rossa.

The Newbridge Oaks winner ran well on her first appearance of the year in last week’s heats and more improvement is expected.

The race also includes two of last week’s heat winners; Rural Maui, who scored in 28.95sec and Adamant Gem who did 28.71sec.

Graham Holland’s Sidarian Nell is fancied to land the other eliminator.

Graham Holland’s bitch overcame a three month absence when winning in 28.60sec, and she is another who can improve significantly judged on the fast 28.38sec she recorded last year over this course and distance.

Elusive Maiden, who impressed when winning her heat in fastest 28.51sec, is a serious danger.

High Street Jesse, who followed her home three lengths behind, was the hot favourite on that occasion and connections will fancy a form reversal.
