Graham Holland will have four runners in the final of next week’s Healthcare and Transport Puppy Oaks over 525 yards in Shelbourne Park on Saturday.

Holland had the first two home in each semi-final and maintained his stranglehold on the event, which he has dominated from the opening round.

His Ballinakill Clare, who has set the standard for in every round, again went quickest when landing the second semi-final.

The daughter of Kinloch Brae had a great battle with Holycross Leah until hitting the front off the penultimate turn and going to score by three and a half lengths in 28.23sec.

Holycross Leah had to share second place with Slippery Louise who got up to join her right on the line.

Holland was on the mark with Sidarian Pearl in the opening eliminator.

The daughter of Vans Escalade blasted clear from traps and eventually beat Rockburst Riva by eight lengths in 28.36sec.
