Karlow Master and We Couldbe Kings, the two stars of the opening round, lock horns in the second round of the Langton House Hotel & TSC Derby over 525 yards at Kilkenny.
Karlow Master clocked a best of the round 28.92sec and can prove too strong for We Couldbe Kings, who landed his qualifier in 29.07sec.
Michael English’s Mind The Gap gets the vote in the opening heat. The 29.13sec heat winner can see off another heat winner Ballybough Lee, who landed his qualifier in 29.22sec.
Cork Veteran Burgess Four, who has a 28.13sec on his card at his home track, can take the second heat. The 29.16sec heat winner can soon be clear and see off main threat Garryglass Messi.
