Graham Strike – the only one in profit last week – really went for it on Wednesday with two selections, two wins, for a mighty profit of £230. Supa Sam picked up a £50 profit. There was one other player. . . . . . Oh yeah – those Stark Choice bumper stickers. . . do you think we could shred them for dog bedding? – £100.

The YARMOUTH trio were all depending on a magic performance last night. So when Jakes Magic was chinned in the top A1, Lee Calcutt and Brett Hughes were automatically out of the game. (-£100). But Dave Prentice – being the sort of bloke who would always pack a spare pair of socks in case his feet get wet – had spread his investment much more sensibly. (We know Dave – they were just reckless!) He had £60 invested on 7-4 winner Hartwood Smokey and pulled up a £65 profit.

NEWCASTLE

All three Newcastle tipsters have learned their lessons from Tuesday. Jimmy Fenwick will be wearing the same lucky pants that he wore when turning in a £50 profit on Tuesday (which are coincidentally the same ones he has been wearing since Newcastle United last won a European trophy). Jimmy Wright has guaranteed that he will not be beaten in any more photo finishes by stealing the camera. Steve Anderson has decided his selections have more chance of winning if they are allowed to start this morning.

Noels Cookie (R9 T1) Was impressive on debut but really caught the eye last time out. Gave herself a mountain of ground to make up after a really poor start and was only beaten 3/4 of a length. A moderate start and clear run should be enough to see her get her first win. £40win with a £10 treble (for a bit of fun).
