Greyhound followers have a couple of new interest sites that are well worth a visit.

The first is the new re-homing site launched by Romford’s owner’s association, the RGOA.

It was cleverly and stylishly designed by Elina and Chris Gough, two volunteers who are on the committee, and takes a ‘dating site’ angle.

Photos of the available dogs are backed up by profiles explaining a bit about them; they even suggest music that you are your new companion might listen to as you are out walking together.

The second site has been designed by Sandy Dixon for Angela Harrison and Jimmy Wright’s Alnwick Kennels in Northumberland.

It is a more traditional design but contains lots of interesting information about the kennel, dogs for sale, their re-homing efforts and rehabilitation facilities. Well worth a visit
