Hove stages one of the best six-bend races of the year in the top Regency Trial Stake over 695 metres at the South Coast venue.

The contest features Golden Jacket and Three Steps to Victory winner Patchys Kerry taking on Lawrence Jones Memorial 684 winner Romany Rouge, Henlow Gold Cup winner Mossvale Ace and another top local in Droopys Cottage.

Mark Wallis’s Patchys Kerry is a bitch in flying form and is fancied to make all.

Wallis is fancied to follow up in the second division with Ferryforth Fran.  The 2015 St Leger finalist has won six of his last seven and can account for Digby Mia.

There are two £500 finals down for decision on the card.

The Hove Thursday Ladies Final looks between Seamus Cahill’s Banabane and Mustang Chick, which he beat by just over a length in a fastest 30.16sec in last week’s heats.

Cahill is fancied to land the Thursday Maiden Final over 475 metres with Cabra Mufasa.

The Kinloch Brae dog made a successful debut in last week’s heats recording a fastest 27.93sec and looks to have a good draw on the fence.
