Henlow have cancelled their Saturday night meeting due to the threat of fireworks displays.
Assistant racing manager Lorraine King said: “It has been bad for a fortnight, and although one of the local pubs had warned us that they would have a display due to finish at 7.15, most of the others don’t bother. At the end of the day, the dogs come first and Kevin (Boothby, promoter) has made a decision that the majority of trainers will agree with.”
