Ballaghboy View made a flying start to the Bapp Group of Companies Scurry Cup at Belle Vue on Saturday. Charlie Lister’s racer was smartly away and he made the most of the advantage to set up a two and threequarter-length victory over the favourite Klokwork Khaos in 15.25 for the 260 metres in heat one.

Early pace was the key again in the next where local hope Ballymac Chas maintained a speedy gallop throughout to finish two lengths up on another favourite, Cloncunny Ardera, in 15.43, but Brogan Tee Bone turned the tables for the punters in heat three, justifying a price of 11-10 by making all to beat Fred You Go by three lengths in 15.28.

Target Harris, kennelmate of Brogan Tee Bone and ante-post market leader, was expected to make a good start to his bid in heat four, but a bad break proved costly and he failed to make it into the semi-finals, finishing fourth behind Ballymac Zara, who beat Tiermana Power by threequarters of a length in 15.36.
