Unbeaten Roxholme Nidge looks set to start as a very short priced favourite going into Thursday’s RPGTV East Anglian Derby Final.

Hayley Keightley’s runner produced another devastating display of early pace in the semi finals (click on results) and has at least five lengths on the clock following a 27.44 victory. (The first five home all went quicker than the other semi final winner, Mary Goodnight).

In a Sunday morning update, Mark Keightley said: “He came off absolutely solidly cramped in his front end again. He has been in the jacuzzi this morning and I have checked him over and he appears to be fine. But he is now on his way for George Drake for his view. At this stage, given we continue treating him as we have so far, I would expect him to be fit and ready for the final.”
