“Of the three, I really have a strong fancy for Bumblebee Bullet. She is only just turned two and will be well short of her peak, but I think she has the potential to be one of the best marathon runners in the country.”

In one of the best finishes ever seen in an event with six decade history the 14-1 winner beat kennelmate Aayamza Breeze by a neck with Riverside Honey back in third.

Having been more than 200 points adrift of Patrick Janssens in the Trainers Championship table, Mark has reduced the deficit to just 62 points.
