On the week leading upto the final of the 2020 Brighton Belle, a son of the 2016 winner Banabane went quickest in the Star Sports English Puppy Derby semi finals at Towcester.
The youngest still in the event, Surprising went quickest clocked 29.62 victory for the 500 metres with an 11 length win. The other two qualifiers went to the Janssens trained pair of Puff The Tiger and Bockos Melody with the kennel’s highly fancied Bockos Belly failing to qualify.
