Doncaster trainer Steve Anderson is hopeful that the good times will be back again soon following a great return to action from a long-term injury by Bramble Rosie in South Yorkshire on Saturday.

Off for six months, the December 2012 daughter of El Grand Senor and Inshaarla made her comeback in A1, led from the rise of the lids and then clung on determinedly to take the prize by a short head in a calculated 29.83 for the 483 metres.

“I am delighted,” commented Anderson. “She showed a lot of promise as a youngster but she damaged a metacarpal, which was a blow. The important thing is that she has bounced out this morning and I am really looking forward to the future with her. I also had a win from Bramble Estevez on the same card that was pleasing as he has been recovering from a broken hock. I have been getting a few dogs back from injury lately and that will improve our strength on Doncaster considerably.”
