Romford’s Dog of the Month for January was Coris Joe (Westmead Joe-Judging Cori, Mar 14), a black and white dog owned by Mr PE Cobb and trained by Jim Reynolds.
The youngster began the month in A5 and ended it in A2 following three wins and a fifth place with a personal best of 24.26 (calc) for the 400m.
Bitch of the Month was Favela Ruby (Sep ‘13), owned by the Go Hard Or Go Home Syndicate and trained by Ernie Gaskin.
The fawn has come on in leaps and bounds and re-trialling following a fall. Beaten in her previous 11 races, the middle runner has four wins and two seconds in her last six races, four of which were run during the qualifying period (2 wins, 2 seconds).
