After originally travelling to Ireland to be mated to Droopys Sydney Peter Harnden’s Salacres Pippy has now returned to him having been mated to one of his leading sons Ballymac Cashout. Harnden explains “We took Pippy over to Droopys Stud as arranged however she just didn’t progress through her season enough to be mated with Sydney. We had a look at the calendar in Ireland and thought the Corn Cuchulainn at Shelbourne would be a decent target.  I arranged with Liam and Shane Dowling to take Pippy in and prepare her for that.  Girls being girls though Pippy had other ideas and came in season again after a couple of weeks.  I’m a great believer in fate and knowing the regard Liam holds for Ballymac Cashout (a son of Sydney)  we mated her to him successfully.  Pippy arrived back with us this week and fingers crossed we’re looking forward to her producing a nice British Bred litter.

Liam Dowling said “I was pleased to get a bitch like Pippy for Cashout he’s a young stud I rate very highly.  He’s one of the fastest dogs we’ve ever had here but his career was unfortunately cut short due to injury.  Some very clued up breeders have already utilised his services and I’ve got to say the pups he has on the ground here are really looking the part.  I’d be astounded if he doesn’t throw top class offspring”.
