Northern Irish sprinter Catherines Drico (Catherines Joker-Pot Belly Blue, Dec 12) maintained his 50% career strike rate with victory in the Peggy Kelly Islandbridge Sprint at Harolds Cross.
Led up by Swanley Rose, the even money favourite came through to win by a comfortable three lengths in 17.52 (-30) for the 325 yards. It was an 11th win in 22 races for Ronnie McKeown’s blue and white dog.
