There can be no more deserving winner of the LPS National Sprint Final than Troy Bella who landed Monday night’s prestigious final like this
It was huge consolation for the Mick Gollogly owned winner who finished third in the 2018 final and is the pinnacle of a racing career well plundered.
The 37.4 kilo (82lb) son of Tyrur Big Mike clocked 17.56 on his first sight of Colwick Park almost two years ago and his record over course and distance is incredible: 17 races, 11 wins, 4 seconds (3 in photos) and 2 thirds. Monday night’s victory took his career tally to 36 wins from 72 races.
