Seeking a second consecutive win in the event for the kennel – Minglers Thunder won it in 2015 – Jimmy Wright’s near veteran black beat a decent field that included Barricane Tiger in 28.50. The other trialstakes went to Honour Jet (28.79), Sidarian Riva (28.85) and Lowgate Hagrid (29.23).
