Locally trained Do It For Twiggy maintained the best form of his career by landing the fastest semi final of the Totepool East Anglian Derby Final at Yarmouth.
Erica Samuels black, who was running graded at Towcester earlier in the year, was never headed when leading home Farloe Brae in 27.48 for the 462 metres. Favourite Calco Flyer was third.
The other semi saw a 1-2 for Seamus Cahill as Southfield Jock and Ballymac Brogan dominated following a brilliant early paced battle. Despite first bend bumping that resulted in Swift Keith being eliminated, Jock pulled away and held on to win by just over two lengths in 27.67. Local favourite Urban Road was third.
