Four of next Monday’s RPGTV Select Stakes runners trialled at Nottingham on Monday night with Droopys Verve the most impressive with a 29.57 (+20) run for the 500 metre course.
Last year’s Eclipse runner-up, who has a personal best over course and distance of 29.14 (+30) drew the blue jacket for next week’s £7,500 invitation which was won last year by Brinkleys Poet.
