Lenson Sanchez bids to make it eight wins from his last nine races in the final of the Joe Dunne Memorial Stake over 525 yards at Shelbourne Park on Saturday.

Pat Buckley’s runner has landed the Puppy Derby at Wimbledon and the Night of Stars 525 at the Dublin venue and bids for a third major title in this prestigious annual.

Last week he clocked a flying 28.09sec in the semi-finals, which is the fastest of the year and can overcome a tricky draw in trap four.

The main danger is Bearatipp who bids to maintain his unbeaten record.

Owen McKenna’s runner is four wins from four races and given the way the draw has worked out with his being drawn in a favourable slot on the fence while main rival Lenson Sanchez has pace to clear in trap four, he could be well placed to make it five consecutive victories.

Draw and best odds:

1 Bearatipp 2

2 Ballymac Gordie 7

3 Highview Jayne 25

4 Lenson Sanchez 6-4

5 Drive On Vick 14

6 Farloe Hunter 5
