Sam and Martin (bookmakers) of Star Sports were the only team to make a profit on Saturday’s SKY card.

The dynamic duo lost with their £50 punt on Ballymac Matt and £25 on King Eden (both eliminated) but cheered home 5-1 winner Swithins Brae for a £25 profit

Paul Ephremsen (owners) drew a blank after Carn Brea was beaten (£50 win). Bruiser Bullet came good in a £40 double, though the second leg was wiped out with the defeat of Jaytee Jet. The £10 accumulator also blew out.

Jonathan Hobbs (media) went for a mighty treble and managed two legs thanks to Bruiser Bullet (11-10f) and Coolavanny Mason (9-4) but was let down by College Paradise.

Patrick Janssens (trainers) was another let down by for his single and double by Jaytee Jet, though the other leg of the double Droopys Buick came good at 10-11f.
