Brendan Keogh and Simon Senyk’s K.S.S Syndicate finished top of the table in the 2015 Owner of the Year standings, to earn rarely seen back to back successes in this prestigious category. Their team of high quality and consistent dogs, including William Hill Derby finalist and track record holder Eden the Kid, ably guided by Liz McNair and husband Rab, have once again excelled at the highest level accumulating points in competitions over a variety of tracks and distances.

Eden the Kid’s stunning 27.95 480m clock in the first round at Wimbledon was a sign of things to come as the son of Westmead Hawk then proceeded to dominate the British Breeders Stakes at Nottingham later in the year, winning the final by almost five lengths despite stumbling at the traps.

King Alley, another creditable Derby performer lifted Towcester’s British Bred Derby, whilst Diego Flight, who only narrowly missed out on the four bend showpiece final himself, made a great impression in the William Hill St Leger, starting as odds on favourite behind Fizzypop Buddy in the final.

Other contributions from the likes of King Dec, Wee Tiger Tots, Leamaneigh Turbo, Skate On and Fire Height Tosh ensured that the syndicate finished ahead of strong challenges from the late Mitch Millward, the Champagne Club and Kevin Boon.

The trophy for the Coral Sponsored Owner of the Year will be presented to the K.S.S Syndicate at the GBGB Awards on Sunday 24th January.
