The near track record run of Ballymac Arminta and the impressive first round run of Skywalker Logan in the Gain Nutrition Corn Cuchulainn were the two main news stories in Ireland last week. There was also a track record that seems to have gone under the radar.
Arminta’s run came in the semi finals of the Champion Stakes at Shelbourne Park where she was just two spots outside Tyrur Van Gaal’s 550 clock. Logan was 26 outside Airforce Duke’s 750 best.
At recently re-opened Drumbo Park, there was a new sprint record for Drumcrow Rocco. Cork’s performance of the week came from Jan ’18 whelp Skywalker Canny with the fastest time of the week, 28.03.
