Kilara Hey Mac and Ecclestone gave trainer Paul Hennessy a double in the semi-finals of the Frightful Flash McCalmont Cup over 525 yards at Kilkenny.
Ecclestone was marginally the fastest winner when making every yard of the running in the opening semi-final to hold Roo Ace by half a length in 29.08sec (-30).
Kilara Hey Mac stretched his winning run to three in the second qualifier when leading all the way to hold off Karlow Master by a head in 29.09sec.
