Monmore were oversubscribed for both of their Category One events, the Ladbrokes Gold Cup and Summer Stayers Classics which get underway on Tuesday.
Each event received 50 entries for the 36 advertised places and the quality in both is excellent and includes the return of Greyhound of the Year Signet Ace, who was beaten favourite in last year’s Gold Cup Final and a return clash between Juvenile Classic finalists Havana Lover and Antigua Sugar.
