Dorotas Woo Hoo (Ballymac Vic-Droopys Danneel, May 15) landed his first race as an adult – the £20,000 RPGTV Scottish Derby at Shawfield.
The sole wide seed up against five railers took fully advantage of his outside draw to win like this . . .
Woo Hoo crossed the winning line in 28.77, two lengths slower than his semi final winning time with Irish runner Coolavanny Mason a well beaten second. It was an eighth career win from 13 outings for Woo Hoo and a seventh Scottish Derby for Charlie Lister OBE.
