Henlow are holding open the closing date for their Sunday opens until Thursday lunchtime.
The Bedfordshire venue – second only to Romford in terms of the number of open races staged last year – plan another 14 race card for the RPGTV televised meeting.
Racing manager ‘Slim’ Mellor said: “Ideally I would like at least five opens but it is tough to fill them at this time of year. There is a lot of sickness about and some kennels don’t like travelling in the winter. But we have races for scheduled for all distances plus maidens over each of them.”
