Paradise Maverick completed a Mullingar seven timer in the semi-finals of the Gain Dog Foods Irish Cesarewitch over 600 yards.
The defending champion picked up long-time leader Master Moroney, trained by Tommy Bolton, close home to score in a fastest 33.57sec to remain unbeaten at the tricky Midland circuit.
Philiblue, trained by John Fox, led from trap to line in the other eliminator to score in 33.65sec.
