The remainder of Skate On’s total came from the Tullymurry Act litter that included King Elvis.

Droopys Loner (Timor Blue-Droopys Lotto) finished third on the 2018 table. Her ten winning offspring have come from three different litters, the sires being Droopys Cain, Droopys Nidge and Droopys Roddick, with average winning distances of 553m, 529m and 454m respectively.

The Nidge litter has been the most prolific with 17 wins from five individuals though the Droopys Cain bunch dominated the 2018 winners.

Silver Dollar (Razldazl George-Theycallherbelle), owned by Richard and Julianna Dunne is best known as mum of the multiple Car 1 winner Roxholme Nidge (by Droopys Nidge), though the Waterford based dam has also thrown four individual winners by Droopys Sydney (Goldies: Ginola, Hoddle and Klinsman, and Seaglass Shadow).

When it comes to quality in depth, nothing comes close to Skate On, though Liam Dowling’s Ballymac Razl (Razldazl Billy-Ballymac Floss) has an excellent litter by Droopys Sydney that features six different open race winner: Ballymacs: Daz, Devon, and Diago, Kingsbrook Glyn, Pentajali and Wildfire Dan.

Live Queen (Westmead Hawk-Hondo On Air), best known as the dam of Droopys Live (by Tullymurry Act), produced six different open winners by Droopys Jet: Deep Pockets, Miles Of Smiles, Queenies Rainbow, Spanish Maiden, Ten More and Williebeastar.

Shirocco Star (Vans Escalade-Eskeer Jill) is another with a six winner haul: Beluga Boy, Clairekeith Zane, Hazelwood Act, Hazelwood Girl, Salacres Big Jim and Salacresknockout (by Tullymurry Act).

Malls Pet (Cashen Legend-Perles Bay) deserves a mention among the home breds as mum of a fine litter by Viking Jack which includes Sharpys: Jack, Jimmy, Pluto and Rocket.

Newinn This Way (Westmead Hawk-Any Time Again) has 17 open wins from a Kinloch Brae litter from which five different progeny have contributed.

Harry Williams’ Pond Tanzanite (Hondo Black-Pond Shakira) only has three winning progeny but has picked up lucrative stakes with Pond Adonis and Pond Natalya.

Other British dams with high volumes of open winners include Ardrine Lunar, Franks Dream, Miss Blitz and Shaws Dilemma.
