BGRF Board matters

 

1          The following grants were awarded to stadia:

 

Peterborough, £4,610 towards additional kennelling facilities;

Nottingham, £10,000 towards improved air conditioning in the restaurant;

Yarmouth, £6,250 for a replacement tractor;

Doncaster, £2,630 towards improved photo-finish facilities

Note: The grants to stadia budget is capped at £10,000 per stadium in 2017 and the overall budget is just £100,000.

 

2          New board representative

John Gilburn, promoter at Sheffield, was welcomed as the new GBGB representative on the BGRF board following the departure of John Curran last December. One GBGB vacancy remains to be filled.

 

3          Wimbledon closure

The BGRF confirmed that all outstanding liabilities have been met by Wimbledon on closure. The GBGB Welfare Committee is offering a complete welfare package to assist with the relocation of the majority of dogs and any retirements.
