Kevin Hutton continued his dominance of the Henlow 550 trip when taking all four heats of the Cesarewitch on Sunday night.

Quickest of the 80-1 accumulator was the shortest priced (2-5f), the recent Midi Final winner Jet Stream Pearl (Droopys Scolari-Tobar Dubh, Jan 14) with a 33.18 victory over Belstone Fox. Next best was 5-2co.f Jet Stream Babs (Droopys Scolari-Momentinnewyork, Jun 14) with a 33.21 run. 7-4f Willy Whitesocks (Droopys Scolari-Sparkling Maisie, Nov 13) was ‘left clear’ when leader Well Worn was distracted and clocked 33.70. The biggest surprise of the quartet was the return to form of Memphis Mafia (Kinloch Brae-Jamaica Jane Aug 13). The 5-1 shot clocked 33.39 with kennelmate Jet Stream Sound(2-1jf).

In the Henlow Puppy Derby, Paul Young’s Pacey Bambi (R0meo Recruit-Droopys Quinta, May 15) finally came good after two short priced defeats with an impressive FON 27.54 winning performance. The other heats with to Azzurri Genesis (27.81), March On Monty (27.85) with the remaining heat going to a 28.39 dead heat with Salthill Wizard and Pro Power.

Henlow Derby winner Lenson Santi (1-1f) made a successful return to the track to land a heat of the Christmas Cracker in 27.76. However he was usurped on the clock by Liam Og (7-4f) with a 27.58 victory. The remaining heats went to Brannew Rio (27.72) and Dusko Popov (27.81).
