Towcester play host to a whole bunch of exciting unraced and lightly raced pups on Saturday with four heats of a 480 metre puppy stake (Aug whelps and younger). One of the most interesting is Ballymac Sheehy, an unraced December pup trained by Barrie Draper and owned by Peter Band
Sheehy has 16.06 and 16.01 trials for Sheffield’s 280m where the fastest time of the year. (Walshes Hill’s 15,73 is the fastest time of the year). The brindle clocked 28.34 (calc) over Towcester’s standard in his first sighter.
Look out too for Elaine Parker’s October pup Light Foot Mata who has a 28.07 qualifying trial for 480m at Sheffield.
