Yarmouth are to hold over the closing dates for their supporting opens for next Wednesday’s televised Totesport East Anglian Derby card.
Racing manager Marcus Westgate said: “Several trainers have pointed out that they would prefer not to make their entries until after Saturday night. In the interests of producing as high quality racing as possible, we thought it sensible to change the deadline.
“We would also remind owners of Saturday’s beaten semi finalists that the invitation race is now worth £1,000 to the winner and their dogs would be guaranteed to be accepted if available.”
