GBGB PRESS RELEASE
The committee of the Trainers Assistance Fund (TAF) met on Friday, 7th July and awarded a total of £34,345 in development and improvement grants to the following trainers:
Peter Harnden, John Henry Smith, George Stark, Berni Warren, Jason Gray, John Simpson, Stephen Pilgrim and Kelly Macari.
At the TAF meeting held on 29th March, a total of £26,340 was awarded for development and improvement grants to the following trainers:
Corren Price, Dean Boulton, Daniel Brabon, David Pruhs, David Dodd, Jamie Kingsley, Peter Held, Peter Swadden, Richard Rees and Stephen Caile.
Note – Development and improvement grants are available to professional trainers only.
A development grant is for the improvement of facilities for the benefit of greyhounds, whilst an improvement grant is to raise the conditions of a kennel in-line with GBGB minimum standards.
A maximum award of £8,000 is available.
Trainers should notify their stipendiary steward when considering applying for assistance funding
