PGR launches video archive

Premier Greyhound Racing (PGR), has launched its free archive videos on the greyhounds.attheraces.com website writes Floyd Amphlett.

In addition, every PGR race is streamed live at the greyhounds.attheraces.com website with free access to racecards, results, daily tipping and, for the first time – archive videos of races.  Videos are available from races staged on the 22nd March onwards.

Commenting on the launch, Garry Nash, Managing Director of Premier Greyhound Racing, said: “We are committed to delivering the best possible service to greyhound fans to promote the sport and free live archive video is the latest addition to our comprehensive online service.  Now fans will be able to link directly from the results section of the site to archive videos of the full race completely free of charge. We are continuing to develop the service and have further enhancements planned over the coming months.”

The launch of archive videos follows a number of service improvements including the use of SSR presenters including Darrell Williams, Dani Jackson and Tony Ennis as continuity announcers between races – a service which went live on 11th March.  The service also launched into the Republic of Ireland for the first time in early February of this year.

After a tentative start, the new website is an excellent addition for greyhound racing punters and connections.
