Graham Holland’s Ballydoyle Honey, who landed the Puppy Oaks last week, set the standard in heat eight when romping to an eight length victory in a very fast 28.09sec.

Kennelmate Warrior Glen got the better of a battle with Kingsmill Bound in heat two by a length in 28.64sec.

Holland was also on the mark with Rising Twirl in heat six, who outstayed Dove River by a length and a half in 28.54sec.

Ballydoyle Honey’s litter sister Urban Gossip came late in heat five to deny long-time leader Invinciblejackie by a length in 28.75sec.

June McCombe’s English Oaks winner Cashen Maureen was also pleasing on the eye in heat ten when beating Piercestown Lucy by six lengths in 28.24sec.

Puppy Oaks runner-up Skywalker Pearl made every yard of the running in heat three to beat Tyrur Dicky by seven lengths in 28.37sec.

Jimmy Buckley’s Jumeirah Dancer went clear at halfway in heat four to score a five length victory over five Gold Medals in 28.59sec.

Beechers Brook made all the running in heat nine to clock 28.43sec.

Barney Mooney’s Shes A Dream got first run on last year’s Consolation winner Springwell Watsy in heat seven to score by a neck in 28.44sec.

Karol Ramsbottom’s Garryglass Zulu went clear from the opening bend in heat one to score a three and a half length victory over Follys View in 28.49sec.
