Sunderland’s top trainer Yvonne Bell was in sparkling form again at the Wearside circuit on Friday.
Her Spennymoor kennel was represented in ten of the thirteen races on the card and she went home with six winners in the van.
Roe Poppy got the party started in the first race when she stormed home a winning 6-4 favourite and that was followed by victories for Glamorous Annie (5-1), Headwire Sal (5-2), Prosecco (5-2), Imperial Four (7-2) and Farloe Adams (6-1) … a tasty “little” accumulator of 5787-1 for anyone lucky enough to be on.
