Litter brothers and kennelmates Roxholme Scolari and Roxholme Barclay dominated the first round of the Romford Puppy Cup.
Hayley Keightley’s Scolari (Droopys Scolari-Bellmore Beauty, Nov 13) was marginally the quickest on the clock with a three and a quarter length win over Coolavanny Bisto in 23.95. 4-9 favourite Barclay was the only other runner to break 24.00 for the 400 metres when he beat To Tone Liam by more than five lengths in 23.99.
Droopys Story had extended his winning sequence to four when landing the first heat for Paul Young in 24.10. The other qualifiers went to Goodwood Flyer (24.52), Aero Liberty (24.23) and Droopys Novak (24.35).
