A year after being withdrawn from the final of the BGRF British Bred Oaks with cracked ribs, Queen Franklin set the standard in the 2020 equivalent with the fastest win of the first round at Doncaster on Monday.
The Liz McNair trained blue, who subsequently ran fifth in the English Oaks Final at Swindon, clocked a career best 29.48 for the 483 metres.
