1980 After a few near misses, Mr Nick Chrysostomou’s Westmead Tina (Prince Champion-West mead Satin, Mar’78) scores her biggest win to date when she takes the £1,000 final of the 820 metre ‘Canada Dry’ at Walthamstow. She beat a good line up including, Treat Fast, Gloss, Decoy Squire, Welsh Cobbler and favourite Fur’s In with a 52.43 time.
