Swindon punters were left hanging from the rafters on Wednesday night with no outright winning favourite from all twelve races; there was one joint favourite – the appropriately named Pressure Point (5-2).
The most notable chinning came for 1-3f Skywalker Archie who was short headed by 6-1 chance Pookies Mia (Droopys Scolari-Pookies Maria, Oct 13) in the sprint open. The winner clocked 16.48 for the 285m.
On his last visit to the track, Face The Blade (5-4) clocked the fastest time of the year, 28.26 for the 480m. However, he too was short headed by 2-1 chance Tommys Approach (Godsend-Loughlea Rosie, Jun 14) in 28.86.
The other nine winners were returned at : 3-1 (x2) 7-2, 4-1 (x2), 9-2 6-1 (x2) and 8-1
