Henlow racing manager Paul Mellor is holding over the deadline for Sunday’s opens – even though he should easily be able to fill the races.
He said: “There is a big firework event nearby on Saturday so we are cancelling the meeting. Although that should give me more than enough runners for Sunday, we try to run Sundays as open race cards whenever possible so please keep the open race entries coming. Next Saturday’s meeting is also cancelled.”
