Brookside Queen looks a good young prospect for trainer David Mullins after setting the standard in the Lawrence Brothers Intertrack Trophy heats over 400 metres at Romford last night.
The June 2013 daughter of Godsend flew out of the boxes and went clear from the opening turn.
She eventually beat Maxine Locke’s Winking Ace by four and a half lengths in 24.13sec.
Locke had better luck in the last qualifier when her Rookies Vision was soon in front and went on to beat Sneezys Lily by a length in 24.39sec.
Maggie Lucas’s Mica Apache led at the opening turn in heat two to score a two length victory over Bam Bam Express in 24.30sec.
