Kentish Prince was successful in Wednesday’s third place run-off for a place in the semi-finals of the Ladbrokes Kent Derby on Sunday and is now a 16-1 shot for outright success.

Kevin Hutton’s runner pulled clear at the opening turn to beat Droopys Denny by over six lengths in 28.97sec (-30).  The pair had dead-heated for third in Sunday’s heats.

Bockos Doomie is the 5-2 favourite for the competition outright after drawing trap one in the semi-finals.
