Honest Portrait has been the dog to beat in the top grades at Monmore after winning five A1 races on the spin.
Jenny Walters’ runner started his winning sequence back in March when making all the running to beat Droopys Genoa by a length and a quarter in 28.21sec.
Since then he has justified favouritism for the next four races scoring in 28.31sec, 28.39sec, 28.37sec and 28.33sec.
His winning run came to an abrupt halt last week when he was bailed over at the opening turn when going for a six timer but he should be back soon when he can try and get rid of his open race Maiden tag.
