Sittingbourne racing manager Jess Packer admits he has no long terms plans after being made redundant this week.
Speaking within the confines of a confidentiality agreement, he said: “I actually found out on Tuesday, and it was my birthday yesterday (Thursday), but there hasn’t been much celebration.
“I was at the stadium for 16 years and don’t know what I will do next; whether it will be within the greyhound industry or doing something else. I intend to take a couple of weeks off now while the kids are on holidays and will then try to find another job.
“ I would be prepared to consider working in a cover capacity if there was something suitable.”
