Badminton Maid, the Newbridge Open Bitch Unraced winner is the favourite for the decider. She looked unlucky in last week’s semi-final when beaten narrowly by the subsequently disqualified Jeanettedollemma but has a tricky five draw to overcome.
Liam Dowling’s Ballymac Belle was half a length behind Badminton Maid after leading and cannot be ruled out, while kennelmate Amanita Chic clocked 28.83sec before the event got underway and a repeat would put her in the thick of the action.
