Local bitch Elusive Maiden set the standard in the heats of the Quickpark.ie Limerick Oaks over 525 yards on Saturday.
The daughter of Westmead Hawk was soon clear and went on to beat High St Jesse by three and a half lengths in 28.51sec.
John Rainsford’s Adamant Gem was soon clear in the opening eliminator to hold Twlight Tear by a length and a half in 28.71sec.
The other two heats went the way of Graham Holland.
His Sidarian Nell was never headed in the last eliminator when beating kennelmate Skywalker Rossa by two lengths in 28.60sec.
Rural Maui led off the last turn in heat two to hold Airmount Cher by a neck in 28.95sec.
