Lord Hesketh
Lord Hesketh has been awarded the Harry Lloyd Award for Services to Greyhound Racing.
The popular maverick promoter has been acknowledged for putting the pride back into greyhound racing – not least with a hugely successful inaugural English Derby at Towcester.
Due to the late notification of this award to the Star by the GWA, we were unable to provide further depth to this story – including quotes from industry figures – prior to the announcement being made.
