At a meeting of the Disciplinary Committee yesterday, Professional Trainer Julie Calvert admitted breaches of 174 (ia), 152 i &ii, 216 and 217of the GBGB Rules of Racing in respect of samples taken from the greyhounds Point Back and Rockforest Marco that were found to contain 5HTP. Calvert also admitted to breaches of the Rules 49 iv, 152 I&ii concerning time finding with the greyhounds Bower Boy on February 18, 2015 and Edwards Memorie on April 9, 2015
Calvert has had her license withdrawn for 6 months, with 3 months suspended for 15 months.
She has also been fined £1,000 for the 5HTP and £200 and a reprimand for each of the time finding cases, making £1,400. She has also been ordered to pay £8,000 costs.
